Online Showroom fixes and improvements:
We’ve received great feedback on the new Online Showroom, so thank you to everyone who has written in! We’re listening intently and have made a number of changes to improve the experience, so they’re grouped together below:
- Online Showroom list view more compact so that you can see more products on a single page
- As long as a visitor remains logged into their Special Showroom, they won’t have to re-enter their password to visit the page
- Online Showroom now properly displays prices if you have it set up to do so
- Showrooms will now resize pictures for easy viewing on mobile devices
- Non-stocked products and Services will no longer show as “out of stock” in an Online Showroom
- Pressing the ESC key on your keyboard will now exit an image preview in Online Showroom
- Special Showroom invite emails will now come from a company team member, instead of an inFlow email address
General Improvements:
- The Adjust Stock screen has been optimized for scanning products in and out (for more information, see this support article)
Issues we’ve fixed:
- A taxing scheme with 0% primary and secondary taxes (with special tax rates on) could hide the taxes on an order
- Some users were reporting a “data conflict” error while saving products (even if nobody else was using inFlow)
- Clicking on a date field (like Pick Date) will now properly display the calendar picker

Online Showroom:
inFlow Inventory’s showroom is an online catalogue you can share with your customers. It’s an easy way for customers to see what you carry, what your prices are and what you have available.
You can choose to set up a public showroom to share with all your customers, or choose to send invitation-only links to VIP customers so they can see special pricing or extra information.
Your showroom can let customers know you have the item they need by sharing stock levels, or encourage them to order quickly if they see you’re running low.
The showroom can also provide read-only access to product details and stock levels to your staff or sales team.
For full details on how to set up your own showroom and start sharing it, please see our inFlow Inventory showroom support article.
General improvements:
- If your billing team needs a record of your inFlow Inventory payments, you can now log into inFlow web and select Manage my account, then scroll down to Billing history. You can download or print an invoice for your subscription from there.

- Auto-filling the Pick tab on a work order will now combine like components on a single line
- We’ve fixed a migration conflict in instances where an inFlow On-Premise usernames was the same as an inFlow Inventory team member address

Pick Date:
Our latest update adds Pick Date to all new and existing sales orders, to show you exactly when each product was picked (taken off the shelves). This Pick Date is handy if your business doesn’t pick items right after a sales order is created, or if you often handle large sales orders where items are picked on different dates.
If you’ve already got sales in inFlow Inventory, any fulfilled order will have a Pick Date matching the Order Date (the date it was created). But if you’re creating a new sales order, the Pick Date will be added when you place a product in the Pick tab. For full details, please see this support article.
This is a highly useful feature if you need complete tracking of inventory picking, but if you’d rather not use it, just press the Fulfill button on your sales order and inFlow Inventory will fulfill it just like before (but with a Pick Date that matches the current date).
General improvements:
- We’ve made it even easier to start using inFlow Inventory if you already have an On-Premise database
- If you’re uploading an inFlow On-Premise database to inFlow Inventory, we’ll email you once your database has been migrated (how convenient!)
Issues we’ve fixed:
- We fixed an issue where importing completed sales could show them as unfulfilled within inFlow’s sales order list
- Users who use our web app will always be redirected to the more secure https://app.inflowinventory.com
- We’ve fixed a bug where a new user could edit company information without being an administrator
