Here’s a question for you: what do Shopify, Amazon, and WooCommerce all have in common?
The basic answer is that they’re all e-commerce platforms for selling your products online. But the answer we’re excited about is all three platforms sync with inFlow Inventory.
Just like with Amazon, we’re releasing our WooCommerce integration for inFlow Inventory users.
What is WooCommerce?
In case you haven’t heard of it already, WooCommerce is a WordPress plugin that lets you turn your WordPress site into an online store. This is great because WordPress is a content management system that already powers many of the world’s most popular websites (including this blog). WooCommerce is also open source, so it’s very customizable if you have (or can hire) developers to tailor the storefront for your unique needs.
How inFlow Inventory and WooCommerce work together
WooCommerce is the third e-commerce platform added to inFlow Inventory, and it benefits from the improvements we developed for Shopify and Amazon. This means that inFlow will provide you with options for interpreting the item names and descriptions from WooCommerce, and you’ll also be able to sync with multiple WooCommerce stores.
A completely new feature we’re introducing is the ability to create a custom prefix for incoming WooCommerce orders. So if your WooCommerce store is called Archon Optical, then you can choose to import a sales order as Archon_001 or AO_001. It’s completely up to you!
If you’d like to get started, just use our Integrations page to connect your WooCommerce accounts, and any new sales will sync right over to inFlow!
We’re working hard on more improvements for inFlow Inventory, so let us know what you think in the comments!
If you’re not using inFlow Inventory yet, click on the link below to check it out!
Nice. When it will be implemented to On premise version?
I’m sorry Andrey, WooCommerce and any other new integrations will only be available in inFlow Inventory specifically.
inFlow On-Premise will continue to function and be supported by our support team, but we aren’t planning any new features for On-Premise.
How does it work
Hi Aisha, we’ve written an article in our support KB to show you exactly how to set up WooCommerce with inFlow Inventory: https://www.inflowdebug.com/support/cloud/25126-how-do-i-download-orders-from-woocommerce/
If you have any questions about it, you can start a live chat with our support team right from that article. We’re online from 10am–6pm EST, Monday through Friday.
Can you synch inventory volumes from Inflow to WooCommerce?
Sorry Zahir, right now our integration with WooCommerce is pull only — so we take sales order info from WooCommerce into inFlow, but inFlow does not send any information back to WooCommerce. We’ll be recording this feedback for consideration, though, thank you for asking!
Dose it pull the status of the order? can i know that’s order paid?
Hi Alexander. Yes, our integration with WooCommerce pulls orders when they are created and updated (due to adding items, making payments, refunding, or changing order details).
If I integrate inflow with WooCommerce Then my orders from WordPress will go to inflow? Also what about shipping can I integrate ship works with inflow so I don’t have to leave inflow to ship a product?
If we sell in our physical store using inflow synced with a woocommerce website will stock availability update on woocommerce?
Thanks
Anna
Hi Anna,
Currently our WooCommerce integration functions to pull orders from WooCommerce -> inFlow.
However, we’re exploring pushing inventory levels back to WooCommerce. No promises on when this could come out, but it’s a feature we’re looking pretty closely at!
Hi, are there any updates on push stock from inflow to the website?
Hi Araf,
Thanks for commenting. To answer your question yes we do push stock from inFlow to all the websites that we integrate with including WooCommerce, Shopify, Amazon, Amazon FBM, FBA, Showroom and Squarespace!
